Mission: To assist individuals, organizations and families in time of need and financial struggle.

Nothing is Impossible, Inc. is a private foundation created by the senior partners of McGivney and Kluger law firm. In the infancy of the firm, 16 years ago, Chuck McGivney and Jeff Kluger made a pledge to ‘share with those who might fall through the cracks of society.’ So in August 2006 the firm was able to form a charitable foundation, Nothing is Impossible, Inc., specifically meant to give a hand up to those who need it most. In the time that the foundation has been in existence it has helped over 40 individuals, families and non profit organizations; giving out over $400,000 in grants and assistance.

The organization is primarily funded by the firm with a few special events during the year as well as miscellaneous private donors. In 2009 Nothing is Impossible, Inc. received its first grant from the AXA foundation, a branch of the AXA global insurance company. The funds from the grant were used directly to fulfill the mission of Nothing is Impossible, Inc.

Here is a small glimpse at who we help:

Single Mother in Harlem: Friday, January 29, 2010 Nothing is Impossible, Inc. was able to help a single mother of two avoid eviction from their apartment in Harlem, New York. The mother who is a cancer survivor had fallen on hard times and was unable to keep up with her rental payments. Eric Fields, a Nothing is Impossible, Inc. volunteer, traveled to the woman’s apartment complex to help her get back on her feet with a generous donation from the foundation. Eric met with the mother and her landlord to bring the mother up to date on her rent and keep a roof over her families’ head. Had the payment not been made that day eviction proceedings would have been initiated. The mother described the Nothing is Impossible, Inc. contribution as a ‘miracle’ as it allowed her and her children to evade homelessness and stay in their home

Dr. Z Foundation: Nothing Is Impossible, Inc. was approached by the family of Paul Zimmerman (Dr. Z) to help with a fundraiser after the Sports Illustrated sportswriter had suffered a massive stroke in 2008. In June 2009 a fundraising dinner dance was held at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ. Nothing Is Impossible was able to assist in raising over $220,000 by the end of the fundraiser to go directly to Dr. Z’s medical expenses which have accrued.

A.M. Lay: Given $2,500 in financial assistance after she was left by her husband with a massive debt.

SCARC: a Sussex County based non-profit organization that assists and supports adults and youth with developmental disabilities, given $1,335 to send a severely Autistic child to summer camp.

Josh Buck Fund: $250/month to assist family with paralyzed husband’s medical expenses.

JP McDonald Fund: $1,700 towards scholarship for children of victims of 9/11
