Here is a small glimpse at who we help:
Single Mother in Harlem: Friday, January 29, 2010 Nothing is Impossible, Inc. was able to help a single mother of two avoid eviction from their apartment in Harlem, New York. The mother who is a cancer survivor had fallen on hard times and was unable to keep up with her rental payments. Eric Fields, a Nothing is Impossible, Inc. volunteer, traveled to the woman’s apartment complex to help her get back on her feet with a generous donation from the foundation. Eric met with the mother and her landlord to bring the mother up to date on her rent and keep a roof over her families’ head. Had the payment not been made that day eviction proceedings would have been initiated. The mother described the Nothing is Impossible, Inc. contribution as a ‘miracle’ as it allowed her and her children to evade homelessness and stay in their home
Dr. Z Foundation: Nothing Is Impossible, Inc. was approached by the family of Paul Zimmerman (Dr. Z) to help with a fundraiser after the Sports Illustrated sportswriter had suffered a massive stroke in 2008. In June 2009 a fundraising dinner dance was held at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ. Nothing Is Impossible was able to assist in raising over $220,000 by the end of the fundraiser to go directly to Dr. Z’s medical expenses which have accrued.
A.M. Lay: Given $2,500 in financial assistance after she was left by her husband with a massive debt.
